Day 1: Arusha Airport

Day 1 Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Ndutu.

Pick from Ndutu Airstrip and drive to Kenzan Ndutu Camp for a briefing, lunch and your first game drive.

Day 2-4: Ndutu Calving

Days 2-4 will explore the different areas of this amazing location, stopping to photograph interesting sightings along the way. We will spend time with different predators when sightings arrive, birds in good light and of course, the many herds of wildebeest which should be calving this time of year.

Days will consist of two game drives, one morning and one afternoon, with time in the day to relax and edit your images.

Day 5: Game Drive to Central Serengeti
After our final early morning game drive in the Ndutu area, we will return to camp for breakfast, collect our bags, and drive to Central Serengeti. We expect to arrive around midday, allowing us time for an evening game drive before settling in for the night at Kenzan Matawi Tented Camp.

Day 6-8: Central Serengeti

From Days 6 to 8, we will be on the lookout for the best photographic opportunities in Central Serengeti. Our exploration will include regular visits to various waterholes and breathtaking rocky outcrops, where we’ll focus on trying to capture stunning images of predators with clean minimal backgrounds.

Day 9: Ngorongoro

On Day 9, we will start early with a drive to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world's most remarkable natural wonders, for an exciting game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool amidst the vibrant wildlife. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, marveling at its breathtaking landscapes and rich biodiversity, before heading to Baghayo Garden Suites for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Drive to the Maasai Village

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll embark on a drive to the African Gallery, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and shop for unique handicrafts and souvenirs that capture the spirit of Africa. Later, we’ll continue our journey to Masai Lodge, where the afternoon will be filled with engaging activities that showcase the rich traditions of the Maasai people and the stunning natural beauty of the surroundings.

Day 11: Maasai Photography

On Day 11, we will have the unique opportunity to photograph the vibrant Maasai people against the breathtaking backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Our day will begin at sunrise, where we’ll capture stunning silhouettes as the first light of day casts a golden hue over the landscape. As the sun sets, we’ll shift our focus to the dramatic skies, creating a perfect canvas for the rich colors and textures of the Maasai culture. This kind of photography is a true treat, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the landscape while honoring the traditions of the Maasai people.

Oh, and did we mention that the Maasai village is known for having some of the best food in Tanzania? You’ll have the chance to indulge in delicious traditional dishes that highlight the rich flavors of local and international cuisine, making this experience not only visually captivating but also a feast for the senses!

Day 12: Departure

After savoring one last early morning coffee while watching the sun rise over Kilimanjaro, we’ll enjoy our final breakfast together before embarking on our journey back to Arusha for departure.
