You will meet Lance, your photographic guide, at Harare Airport around mid day. Once the group is gathered you will take a one hour twenty minute flight through to Ruckomechi Airstrip,
From here you will be met by your guide, given a briefing and driven through to the Kavinga Camp (approximately 20 minutes), .
After arriving we will settle into our rooms, freshen up before exploring the reserve on the first afternoon drive. At night we will gather for dinner and to talk about the days activities, whilst planning the next 4 days at Kavinga Camp.
The afternoon brings another photography session, either from the hides or exploring Mana Pools’ stunning landscapes. As the sun sets, we capture dramatic light before heading back to camp for dinner, sharing stories and images from the day around the fire.
Here we will spend the next six nights enjoying the amazing Zambezi River, huge Anna Tree Forests and beautiful floodplains. Our main targets will be elephants, wild dogs, lions as well as many other animals and birds framed so beautifully in the forest.
